Got a coupon downtown from here so I decided to check the place out. Welcoming staff and great selections. Also really good about respecting the social distancing guidelines. I used one part of my coupon and got to save the other half for my next visit!

New to AK and faithfully frequented until I realized an employee was skimming. When they have to upcharge using the card swipe the money comes back to the customer, but I was mistold by a dishonest employee that it does NOT come back to me. Mistakes happen, but they don’t on multiple occasions in $200 worth of debit card purchases and, when brought to an employees attention when my name and number was left, I have heard nothing back.

Told me I didn't have a account and I didn't receive my points or 3 dollars off a purchase that 8 was eligible for. Didn't ask before purchase if I had any reward points I had to ask her and she said she'd make a new account since she couldn't find it. Treated me like I was slow in the head even though I showed proof of 30 emails that had reward points available. Won't be coming back.

I enjoy coming here since a friend used to work there. The staff is extremely friendly, they are knowledgeable in their products and make amazing recommendations on products i never would have thought of, (floating the ice cream in the soda) but greatly enjoyed. I 100% recommend to everyone.
