The staff are some pretty cool people, I've only been there once but it's the best experience in an alaskan dispensary that I've had. I love the taxidermy on the wall with the pre rolls in their mouths, that was pretty amusing. I wish I took a picture. Next time I will.

The service here was very great. Employees were very friendly and shared a lot of information about their offerings. We didn't buy anything because things were a bit overpriced. The Cannabis scene is very young in AK. We were impressed to see the offerings have grown since our last visit just a year ago. U can buy 50mg of gummies for $48.

I have gone to all the other dispensaries here on the peninsula and I continue to come back to permafrost, not only for their fabulous product, but the staff’s friendliness is what keeps me coming back. At all the other dispensaries, I’ve had interactions with staff that were just not good. But every time I come here I am greeted with the same warm welcome and the best suggestions. All the budtenders are super knowledgeable and any time I have a question they help me out the best they can. As someone who isn’t super knowledgeable about marijuana, I appreciate the fact that when I come here I’m not treated like I’m stupid as I’ve had such encounters at other dispensaries. Good products, decent prices, friendly staff. Highly recommend swinging by if in town.

The best part of this shop was the taxidermy smoking joints. Selection was dismal and the bud tender was not enthusiastic and somewhat rude. Definitely worth it to keep driving to the next shop instead.
