Founder Garrett Smith began with a personal interest after retiring from the military. Garrett served our country in the United State Coast Guard for five years and retired following a debilitating seizure disorder. . The Herbal Alternative grows their flower in 100% organic soil, year round. Garrett’s cultivation techniques yield only the highest quality, producing the cleanest, most potent and aromatic buds available in Colorado."

I had a great 1st-time med patient experience. The bud tender was knowledgeable and had great customer service skills. I bought a 1:1 concentrate Chewbacca Kush and flower Cornbread (grown on-site; daily tours at 1pm).

Drove down and dropped off some samples for Herbal Alternative in Cortez Colorado and thought that this place is way cool on top of a hill with a giant green cross flag flying high and proud the ladies that helped me out where awesome and friendly! So if you want to go to a really cool shop this is the place!

I went to The Herbal Alternative to try it out because why not. The budtenders were extremely helpful and had alot of patience with me even tho I asked a million questions 😂 They helped me understand everything and I ended up trying their wax which they had some really good deals for. 5 stars for customer service and product quality
