The CBD Shop

I initially stopped here to pick up a light dusting of Kratom and possibly a small piece (you know the type I mean) of a particular shape and style. I was disappointed at first, Miss Ruby having made aware that Alton had actually banned the sale of Kratom entirely! Not only that, but the piece I was hoping for turned out to be vaporware. Ah well.

Undeterred, I asked for some room to look about and see if there was anything that caught my eye. Indeed, I found something even my helper seemed surprised at. That discovery led to another and another, and all the while Ruby continued to be informative and non-judgemental of my sheer ignorance of the subject matter. I was made to feel welcome, competently informed, and ultimately left with a few purchases that had me quite pleased.

I must say, if you're looking for Kratom specifically, this is not the shop for you. The company sells it at other locations, though, and if the other shops are staffed as well as the one in Alton then you should definitely give them your business. If you're in the market for smoke accessories though, this is an excellent spot to spend some time and money. They also sell CBD and CBG items, like the gummies I picked up. I'm using one as I write this. Not bad.

I would like to take a moment to especially thank Ruby for the help. I am a particular kind of person, and she took me in stride and was absolutely amazing at her job. Thank you, madam!

Big shout out to Bre and Ruby, who each helped me find a product I was looking for to help with some of my anxiety.

They responded to each of my questions with useful information, were honest about the discounted and soon-to-be-discontinued products (one of which I bought) going off the market soon, and didn't make me feel pushed to buy anything or judged for having too many questions.

All the staff has been very helpful and insightful with my visits to the store. Both Abbi and Ruby were very knowledgeable while they showed me around the store and helped me find what I wanted. They have good vibes in their shop! It was an all around good experience!

My whole friend group has gone in a bunch of times now. We all absolutely love this place. I have a very special and beautiful piece from here that I cherish. The employees are always wonderful, helpful, and welcoming. We were just in the other day, and Katie, Matt, and Abby made sure we knew all about the deals going on so we didn’t miss out. They always make sure we know what’s going on and we end up getting more than we plan on getting every time. It’s hard not to when everything is of such high quality there!
