They are very nice people and very very Intuitive and helpful. When you go ask for "Mark" (he is the shortest one there he said lol) I think that's his name but he was very respectful and had manners he will take his time with you and EXPLAIN anything u need to ask or want to know about.

I always love this place. But last night (6-13-2019 10:30)was a horrible experience. The cashier was a younger girl. There was a guy standing at the register asking everyone in line for money. She didn’t ask him to leave or anything. I wanted to use cash for my purchase, however I felt so uncomfortable with the guy breathing down my neck that I used my card. He then asked me to buy him stuff off my credit card. The cashier should have made him leave. Y’all are normally great. But that cashier is your weakest link.

I hope this email finds you well. I was at your Winston-Salem location today. I was simply trying to exchange a battery for my vape. I began using a vape for my anxiety and depression. Suggested by your staff. Very helpful. I am disappointed that even after finding my receipt you would not allow an exchange or store credit. Your staff recommended that I go to the manufacturer to see if the warranty would apply per your instructions. I made this purchase and tried to exchange it within the same month. July. After further consideration I will reach out to the manufacturer and I will also review this mishap on google. I will no longer shop nor support your store. I hope you change your policies in the future for the sake of your employees.

I was browsing some CBD products and was suggested a delta 8 vape, cartridge, battery and charger. Very positive employees. I left and had to return because one of your employees forgot to place the charger I just purchased in my bag. I live 20 minutes away and decided it was no big deal. I made a purchase of $87.70. I was hoping to find a good smoke shop to call my “shop”.
However today’s interaction was disappointing. But nothing personal, I am sure your decisions are economic in nature. God bless and I wish you the best.

I have been coming here for at least ten years to buy my smokes and sometimes zippos . I love the shop and I love the people working in it . If you are one of these people who posted ugly comments , obviously you were either rude , disorderly, or never had respect therefore you cant expect a good visit.Never have I ever been in this shop and left disappointed . I recommend you guys to all of my friends and I will continue to do so. Needs ten stars in my opinion . Thanks SS!

Smokey Shay's is absolutely awesome. One of the employees there named BAM, is the one you need to talk to. He is very knowledgeable about the products within the store. He also, has a tendency to make me laugh everytime I come into the establishment.

I gave this place a 3 star review because of the employees. I visited Smokey Shay's because i was told by others that it was a nice place that supports american glass and american artists. The business itself seems to be well put together with a lot of effort and time dedicated into it. It seems unfortunate that the employees are where they fall short. The few times i have visited, have been unpleasant because of how condescending and patronizing some of the employees were. I was completely ready to support a local business with my patronage however the attitude of the employees towards the customers really soured the entire experience. I left with less than half of what i initially wanted to purchase simply because of how i was being treated. If Smokey Shay's really wants to do anything they can to improve the experience for the customer then i would suggest starting with the employees attitudes and the way they treat others above all.
