HPRC Arcata Cannabis Dispensary (Humboldt Patient Resource Center)

Clones came infested with russet mites—blew up a closet. Thankfully caught them before they spread heavily, but no wonder they were priced half off. These things can be extremely difficult to get rid of if they get out of hand. I’d also reconsider their house products now, namely flower, just knowing they have at least one type of pest. They were quality genetics from my past experience, sadly they all seem a little sick now. Also watch out for their GSC cut—its structure looks like it may have HpLVD. Two stars for better luck to them. For photo reference; Every little white spec, or piece that looks out of place—it’s a russet mite.

The security guards are always so welcoming, the tenders are so loving. Extremely knowledgeable and fashionable. Love the decorations for the holidays 🔥❤️ My go to shop for all things irie. Terrible service. Definitely can not even count on them to answer their phone. If you by chance make it through on the phone or decide to just want in, they are extremely unfriendly and over priced in comparison to every other local store, for example the herb & market or fireplace. Oh and don’t bother asking for their manager, Kaeden, he is the rudest and most misogynistic guy you could ever meet.

Last November was feeling ill & made a dash on my bike to their Arcata store as the worst rain/wind storm of the year hit. I was soaking wet but got there 5 minutes before closing time. It was a weekend & with the raging storm they closed early—I began to knock on the door. A voice claimed they were closed but I kept knocking a few minutes, knowing at this point by my symptoms I likely had Covid-19, I had a Strep throat & could feel Pneumonia starting in my lungs. Two Arcata PD pull up, I wasn't knocking anymore as the top of the hour passed & was on the public sidewalk under the awning changing out of my wet clothes as I was freezing & shivering with the illness nearly incapacitating me. Several Arcata PD approached & ordered me to leave. So HPRC called the cops on me so they could leave early & party—and I shopped there several years. Snitches. Incidentally they list themselves as "Clean Green" certified but no longer pay for inspections—a fraud.

I've gone here for probably 5 6 years always good experience, today I bought a 10$ house joint cone as soon as I lit the end doing a normal puff puff and ALL the herb comes flying out. That should definitely be grounds for at the very least replacement of item. They offer me 20% discount, very disappointed doubt I will be returning. The 10$ item is irrelevant, what's messed up is they made the joint defective and refuse to take responsibility. So I ask hprc is keeping 10$ worth someone never coming back to your business?

We were passing through on our honeymoon. As I was standing in line a lady approached me who was very nice and welcoming. As we were making small talk it turned out she was an owner. She helped show me some great products and then turned me over to the staff. All in all this place was great. I would definitely recommend checking it out and great quality product. When we come back I will absolutely stop in again. Thank you guys!

Incredible! Not only is this a historical establishment (first dispensary in CA) but it literally sets the standard for perfect customer service. Extremely congenial, welcoming and super knowledgeable. Quality of products is very high and they have a ton of different categories like edibles, beverages and regular cannabis

HPRC (Humboldt Patient Resource Center) is a fantastic Rec/Med cannabis shop in Arcata and Eureka. I had the privilege of visiting the Arcata location, which is located off 6th Street and J Street. I wish I could remember the gentlemen's name who checked me in, but alas, the product they sold me is too good, so it has slipped my mind! Either way, he was incredibly friendly, and got me checked in in less than 2 minutes, despite it being first time, super speedy! My budtender's name started with an R, I think Roxanne, she was so helpful that I could wax poetic about it! I was shopping for myself, my sister-in-law, and my mother-in-law, all of who have different tastes, and she hooked us up with great palette matches from some local growers, including their house brand! Coming from San Diego, where a few of our shops do accept debit cards, the minor inconvenience of cash is still the norm everywhere else; however I was prepared for that, so bring the green for the green! (there is a chase bank located a block away too!) 11/10 experience, will come back again the next chance I get to come this far north, where the best cannabis in the state is grown!

Highly professional staff and shop. Excellent products no matter what you're looking to get and inventory changes regularly. All tenders offer excellent info for those looking for it and will respectfully let you look on your own if you prefer. Careful of their up-selling, but even going for premium won't leave you disappointed.

Decent selection, average prices. Only purchased a gram of rosin and a pre roll. Both which were good and average priced. The bud tenders are very respectful and informative.

Very friendly staff, informational and professional. I enjoy the fact they can hold an item for me so i can have time to get there and not waste time or money or gas to come by and pick up. Very educated and helpful in informing new customers on the benefits of both thc and cbd products. They also have good deals on most their stuff and i love how they test everything before they sell it.

First visit today as I now live in CO. Super nice guys helpful crew. Very good selection and amazing prices. $5 for a first time customer
