Checked out the new dispensary.... Haven't smoked yet but taxes were only approx 9 bucks (compared to MA that's a steal), there is no preorder yet, and the line was to the end of the block (the shorter closer end of the block) entering was interesting to say the least...there are benches along the perimeter and you play musical chairs as the ones sitting ahead of you get called in ....the employee welcoming and checking in guests was very nice (he may have been the owner), once called into the back room, there were staff at registers about three on duty, the cashier started off friendly but seemed a bit cold towards the end when I have suggestions about the website....that was until I gave a tip and suddenly he was perky again, go figure I guess money makes everyone happy. That's my experience going to upstate canna co on union street in Schenectady. Two suggestions: 1) add THC content to the main images it saves time when viewing, rather than having to click on each one to find out. 2) in the filter add potency (high to low & low to high) options. No one wants to spend time perusing the menu when they know what they're looking for. I know I don't. Parking was relatively easy and close. We'll see the quality of what NY has to offer their recreational use buyers as I have not tried anything I've purchased yet.

Went for the first time today..from start to finish it was about 45mins (definitely worth it). Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Process went very smooth. Will definitely be back and recommend!

Good product fair prices but I felt rushed and pressured sales lady I felt didn’t know a lot I was looking for a sativa dominant she pointed to the most expensive wish I had a bit more time to select and look but felt rushed to choose

Had high hopes, sadly let down. My preroll that was suppose to be 1g was way off, it was closer to .75g. Not only was it rolled a quarter short but it wouldn't hit so I had to unroll it which was when I weighed it due to my suspicion and was not impressed. I'll come for the pens (maybe) but I think I'll stick to Bloom brothers or the street. Sorry guys but that really made me sad.

I went 3 star but 2.5 would be better. I bought almost an oz total of 2 strains. One was like $45 1/8 and the other $32 1/8 before taxes. All were very small buds and very disappointing. I do not like that they weigh your weed out in a back room. Bad in two ways- can’t see you are getting what’s in the jar they show you up front and, can’t see if they give you the 3.5 per 1/8 th. Trust is hard now a days with cost of everything. I’ve been to many dispensaries out of state and this one is way different set up. Mom always said, don’t let them take your credit card in back when handing over to someone. That was 45 years ago. The guy ( bud tender ) didn’t know anything about 4 strains I asked about. So not well experienced. Should have some basic knowledge of strains. Again, annoyed at the tiny buds. I would have bought the the strain that advertised smalls! These buds are what other places give on sale for being so small. A bit stalky too in a couple of the 1/8 ths. When buying 1/8ths that cost $30 and more, tiny buds are unacceptable unless mixed with a bigger buds. I always encourage people to try growing. Not hard if you only grow what you can handle. Some strains anyone could grow and be decent stuff. THE GOOD- they taste as described. Both strains. Both dried and cured properly! A bonus when buying at a dispensary. Some local stuff is a bit moist and not cured well!! A reason I grow my own every year.

Opening day was great but man did the prices sky rocket after that, also check your bags these ppl ripped me off a pre wrap. $17 down the drain. Can't trust anyone

Yesterday Sunday 4/23 was my 2nd visit to the shop. I went around a 1/2 hr before closing and there was a small line. I made a line friend and laughed the whole time. Once inside I was greeted by a young woman who helped me.. I told her what I wanted and she suggested I try Purple Sunset instead of Purple Punch which I did. I would like to thank her. I enjoy the strain. It’s a great shop with great people. Looking forward to my next visit.😁

I had a great experience. I went Friday afternoon and was in and out in 30 minutes. Staff were all great. Talked with some others in the line while we waited, everyone was very friendly. The prices are surprisingly good, from $20-$60 or so for an 1/8th. It's comparable to prices in western MA despite being the first recreational dispensary in the area. I am also happy with the quality of the product. The Rolling Green Sour Diesel I got is probably in the top 5 or 10 of flower I've had. Overall, really impressed by Upstate Canna Co. They are off to a strong start and makes me excited that we finally have recreational dispensaries here.

Very friendly love to see how quick and efficient this dispensary is aswell. Very good 1st experience and exciting to see it happen in our life times. Taxes are a little high but other then that great place!

I'm so upset So my 1st time going here it was horrible I tried to ignore the reviews before I came here because they weren't good but I figured I'd given it a try but I guess the reviews were right Prices are too high weed doesn't even get you high do not go here

Very cool first time experience. Waiting in line was awesome to see all of the different walks of life that weed heals! More gray hair in the crowd than I thought! I loved it. I was not rushed. The female clerk took everything I said into consideration and hooked my husband and I up with some good good. She was so chill. The atmosphere was really peaceful. So funny, I grew up right down the road and never imagined a legal pot store in NY let alone in my hometown. I will be back. A lot. Thank you! So high right now haha

Just wait for the competition. Weed is cheap. It's like the jewl pod thing, they want you to think it's valuable but it's 2 cent of product marked up a hundred times.

Was considering to go however saw the location and it appears to be a headache! Looked at the website and it's functionality appeared generic. I tried to call and ask about accessibility, not looking to stand in a lengthy line, no answer. Phone was busy at first than was ringing for a long time. Rather than answer it, it appears someone answered and hung up. Red flag! On my way to Lee!

Wonderful service

Changed my review after hearing from the owner. They have a lot of kinks to work out, particularly the menu on their website, and the fact that you can't pre-order. Prices are also higher than Massachusetts, even counting in the price of gas to Pittsfield.

Long wait in line. Budtender was yawning in my face the whole time I was in front of her. Prices are a touch high, and it took several minutes to fill my order after I paid for it. Go to MA, save yourself a headache
