First time visiting here and had a great experience!! Friendly staff, clean establishment, great selection of products!! Asked questions and for recommendations!! Purchased some things to try and I’m happy with my decision!! They even have discounts for veterans!! Will definitely return and recommend to others!! Highly recommended!!!!

I barely ever leave reviews, but my girlfriend and I couldn’t have had a better experience thanks to Dez. She answered all of our questions with patience and enthusiasm, and even reassured us when we apologized for asking so many questions. Dez is a 10/10 human and we will def be back because of her!

I love this place! Every product we've tried has been great and the staff is out of this world! My wife and I love to go in and BS with Dez. It's also a local, woman owned business and they are definitely worth checking out!

Very beautiful store. I’m not deducting any stars from my review for my suggestions because I do believe my ignorance is what caused my problem; but I do have few suggestions. I do think the staff should discuss the products a bit more with customers, only because when I went, I was very open with the individual who helped me that I had never tried the gummies I was buying before and that they were recommended to me, and while they were extraordinarily kind, they never told me how strong they were. Now, I’m an adult, so that’s why I say I understand that this is really moreso my fault, but I also don’t know much about delta 8 and you hear mixed feedback on what dosage is normal and for who, so I ended up with a very scary high from my gummy I took. Now, I do want to note it does say online to take half, and it also says on the bottle to be cautious, that’s why I’m Taking full blame, but still I don’t think it would hurt to explain to customers a little more what delta 8 highs can feel like, and how much they should take based off their experience. The shop does feel legit though and safe, and in todays world of everything being messed with, I think you’re in safe hands here.

The person working was really helpful and nice. Way better shopping experience than your typical glass shop or dispensary. I will start shopping here more often.

I love it here. Every time I come in everyone is so kind and welcoming. The store is beautiful, and everything is easy to find. If you have questions the staff always had answers for you. The owner is amazing. I cannot speak more highly of those .

Love this place! The products are always amazing and the staff is upper professional. I usually order online, but this weekend I was passing through Pittsburgh and made it a point to make it an in-person visit. So glad I did!

Two visits, two lousy customer service experiences. First visit I bought a vape pen that was broken. Upon returning the item I was met with resistance from who I assume was the owner. I was given a demonstration by her on the "right way" to use it. Since my word wasn't good enough and I likely was to stupid to know how push a button and inhale at the same time, I had to give my own demonstration on how the product was broken. Her resolution was to give me store credit or replace the item. After an annoying back and forth she finally conceded to a refund. The other day my partner bought a calming CBD tincture for dogs, not realizing the bottle read that there were traces of THC in the formula. After consulting with our vet, they said to absolutely not give our pup anything with THC in it as it is toxic and could be fatal. Back to the shop to attempt to return the product. After explaining all this to the same person from the first visit I was greeted with the same resistance to a refund. Nevermind that there should be serious concerns that she is selling something that could potentially hurt your pet, to which she was indifferent to. I walked away with a useless gift card that I will never use because I refuse to support this business again. This "all sales are final" philosophy is immensely flawed. Ironically, the Buddha statue up front hardly represents any good karma from this place.

Amazing service. Very knowledgeable. Dez (sp?) is so patient. I had lots of questions and she took her time to answer them all. Today was my first visit and I’ll definitely be back. I highly recommend this locally owned business.

The store is great and the staff is not only knowledgeable about the product, they are all super friendly and helpful as well. Seriously, don't buy your CBD from a gas station or a shop that looks like its a pop up shop, come to Hippie & French!

Somehow I have never reviewed this place. I've been coming here a few years now. I have a few disabilities and regular Mary Jane and I simply do not get along. Frankly, she makes me very anxious, so finding this place has literally been a life saver. First, the aesthetic is brilliant. Second, love the fact that where business is concerned, I feel safe knowing I'm buying trustworthy products and not weird gas station who knows what. Third of course are the employees and owner who are so personable, knowledgeable, and truly make the place (also shoutout to Critter who I just found out this review comes too late for, they will be sorely missed!!). I truly appreciate this and cannot recommend it enough.
