I have to say this is the best place to get your legal cannabis in the entirety of South Texas. I shop there at least a couple times a week and they always have something that blows my mind. Today I will be reviewing 3 of their strains, including one grown by the owner locally, Pink Panther. I’m including some good tunes to jam while you’re reading to get you in the right mindset for the effects and looks of these strains 😜 Strain 1: Music Suggestion: Turn it On by Flaming Lips. First I’d like to start with my new favorite strain. I never thought anything would take the place of good ‘ol Girl Scout Cookies but this Magnolia Moonlight hits it out of the park! It comes off with a very fruity smell reminiscent of a sweet candy. Maybe Pop Rocks or Pez. The flower is very well cured, sticky yet very, very nicely textured. Once rolled up immediately packs quite the punch. Not too harsh yet just expansive enough to let you know that you're smoking something special. Be careful with this one. It has definite couch locking potential! Strain 2: Suggested music: I Can’t Wake Up by KRS-One. Next strain I would like to talk about is the Blue Cheese. True to its namesake, the blue cheese delivers a funky pungent odor that reminds you of a block of actual blue cheese. The trim and cure are absolutely perfect. Breaking it up leaves your fingers incredibly sticky and fills the room with an odor that will make your neighbor say ‘What’s going on in there?!?!’ I’ll be adding the Pink Panther review shortly I have to get a better feel and sense of it to properly do it justice but it is phenomenal. First pics are Magnolia, then Blue Cheese and finally the Pink Panther.

So let me start out by saying the staff and owner are some of the nicest people you’ll meet. When you go inside this shop, you’re immediately greeted with a smile and people who know their cannabis. Their selection is unmatched by far compared to any shop south of maybe Austin. They have an in-house CBD strain that is out of this world. So far I have tried about 7-8 of the strains they carry and am yet to be the least bit disappointed. Every jar contains well manicured, fresh, sticky and pungent flowers. Their prices are also second to none and packaged with care. If you’re looking for the best CBD or delta-8 cannabis, look no further than RGV Grown. I HIGHly recommend them. Their prerolls are slow burning, not made from trim and they even have some nice cartridges for those who prefer something more concentrated. No matter what you’re pick, you will be glad you chose RGV Grown!
