Price gauging the repairs.
Ive had 2 different pieces fixed here on separate occasions. Both simply needing new 18 mm joints on straight tubes. 1st repair = $110 ... 2nd repair $130.
I had the exact same repair done in San Diego for $50.
I had the exact same repair done in Austin for $25 (RIP Glassy Knoll).
With glass blowers in house there is absolutely no reason for the repairs to be priced so exorbitantly.
Being one of the only glass repair shops NEAR Houston they will charge what they want.
