My Great Dane had 2 seizures in a 6 month span about a year and a half ago. Our vet said we could put her on seizure medication but the problem is once she starts taking it she has to remain on it for life—ceasing these meds could make the seizures worse or more frequent. I did some searching online and found a lot of stories from other dog owners and articles regarding the use of CBD oil for many issues in pets. Our Great Dane gets half a dropper maybe twice a week. And she has not had any seizures in over a year. We also took in a foster Great Dane that has severe anxiety. We are giving him CBD oil as well about twice a week in hopes to calm his anxiety. We have noticed a difference in his stress in the week we have had him.
