Got my nose pierced there about three weeks ago and my nose piercing kept getting infected and i didn’t know why because my piercer told me she used surgical steel which later I found out was a lie they use “Grade A steel “ but the girl who did my piercing I would give five stars she was awesome and nice the only reason I’m giving them one star is for not telling me about the steel they used ....

Bought a item that supposedly hides your valuables for around 28.00 about a month or so ago. The glue used on the item was no good. Had item 2 weeks before it became unusable. No refunds. No help to fix item that they sold. 28.00 down the drain. Any business that does NOT REFUND or EXCHANGE your item(s) purchased looks to be struggling. How can you sell items and not stand behind what you sell?? Seems shady. I wouldn't purchase much of anything from this store over 5.00. Buyer beware!!!

Best place ever. Already planning our next 5 hour drive to texarkana for our next large purchase. We got like 70$ of things that could have been up to 250 in Houston, good quality too!!! Whaaaat! Thank you guys! Also if I ever needed a piercing I'd get it there.

I erased my last comment.....but here is a tip, one could stop what they're doing and help a customer (directed to the male who thinks he's running things)....instead of giving me a short answer to my question, and then uncaringly waiting for your employee to finish with her customer before attending to me..an I'm not sure how much you pocket, but if you are always that lazy and selective on hearing you shouldn't even be around customers... nice job keeping things stocked though you sure we're “getting after it”, way to go!

After reading all these other negative reviews, I thought I would share my experiences. Never once out of hundreds of visits to Modern Primitives have I ever had a rude or uncaring person. Everyone has greeted me as soon as I walk in the door and been more than curteous to me. I have several friends who also do business here and always come out with a positive feedback. Perhaps these certain people with bad experiences were just having a bad day or had their feelings on their sleeves. The owner is amazing as well!!! Thank you - Amy Lawrence
