When I travel long distance whether by road or air, I always have to plan for pain. The seats in most vehicles, including air planes, don’t fit me ergonomically and sitting for any length of time initiates significant lower back (sciatic) pain. I plan frequent stops, time to stretch, and pack both ibuprofen and acetaminophen for all trips. I have always been forced to alternate high doses of both NSAIDS in order to take them more frequently than suggested just to manage the pain at a tolerable level.
Lisa at Mother Earth suggested I try the Cobra Venom patch before my trip from Miami to Seattle, and I’m grateful she did! I applied the patch at my left hip as I left the hotel, made it through two long flights (about 7 hours) plus a three hour trip in the car from Seattle to my home in Wenatchee. I HAD NO PAIN!! I was pain free the entire day, removed the patch about 10PM- then woke to significant lower back pain the next morning-
SO I KNOW IT WAS WORKING!
No need to suffer through pain with concerns of kidney/liver strain from strong doses of over the counter pain meds- anymore !!
