Edit: Thanks for your prompt response. I actually tried to open another pack before I left the second time, to which the cashier replied, “it would be easier on you if you didn’t”.
I have been to this place a couple times over the past year. The employees have always been friendly & helpful. However, I bought a pack of CBD gummies and immediately opened them when I left the store. They were completely melted into one glob of gummy. So I made my way back to Smokey’s and asked for an exchange of product or a refund. I was told the best they can do is punch half of the punches on a Smokey’s reward card... which isn’t helpful if you don’t frequent the store often or you’re purchasing small items. I wasn’t going to pitch a fit over $10. Just know that they have a no refund/no exchange policy, even if there’s something wrong with their product.

So I came in here with my friends a year ago. We were all looking around for a while. Trying to decide if we wanted anything. My girlfriend finds some clothes she would like to buy so we go up to pay and the lady at the register IDs us. I didn't have mine with me so they didn't sell the clothes to us. WE will never come back for this specific reason. Hands down worst experience I ever had in a smoke shop. If you gonna ID someone do it before they looked in the store for 30 mins deciding on what they want. All the other guys are cool. It was just one girl that had this problem with us. Also I see when Smokey Shays replies to the reviews about things it can be unprofessional. Not to mention the fact that when they replied to someone complaining about how a high priced battery stopped working. You proceeded to tell them you have plenty of cheaper options. Obviously if the high priced ones don't work the cheap priced ones aren't gonna last long either. Just cut your prices lower or do more store credit. Then maybe just then you will be a quarter of what the Hippy House is. Hippy House is the best an cheapest place to go if you are in Winston. They have tons of options and Mike (the owner) is the coolest laid back guy you'll ever meet. No matter how awkward you are he will do his best to make your interaction the least awkward it can be. Please just do us all a favor and go to the Hippy House.

Have been accused of shoplifting multiple times. Would rather spend my money elsewhere. And little high on their merchandise. You do accuse. And smokey sheas is wrong for making assumptions of actions I never did.

i live the farthest from this location but will be driving to winston for the customer service and great energy! i was sad to get to the HP store and be told they didn't have what they told me on the phone but these girls are awesome at this store! they even checked to make sure my product was working before they let me walk out with it! i will be driving to winston every time now.

I've only been a couple of times and I love this place, the people make this place, not just the merchandise. If you haven't been then go, if you have been then time to go back.
